How to Apply Mineral Makeup
 

Always start with clean, dry skin (allow moisturizer to completely absorb).

These mineral products are extremely concentrated and should be used very sparingly.

IT TAKES A FEW SECONDS FOR THE MINERALS TO WARM UP TO YOUR SKIN SO WAIT BETWEEN LAYERS TO AVOID OVER APPLYING.

DO NOT OVER APPLY!

YOU WILL ACHIEVE A MORE NATURAL, FLAWLESS FINISH IF YOU BUILD UP SEVERAL LIGHT LAYERS.

Mineral Foundation
Puncture just a few selected holes on the seal to control product flow.

With lid on jar, gently tap a small amount of powder into the lid.

Using the Jumbo Buki Brush, swirl the brush around the lid until the minerals are completely infused into the bristles. Tap on lid or a tissue to remove any excess.

Start at the jaw line and work inward. Apply to one side of your face at a time (then reload the brush to do the other side (alternating sides allows time for the minerals to warm in between layers). Repeat a layer on each side if needed. Do not grind the minerals into your skin. You will be surprised by the coverage you get with a light hand. For heavier coverage, it is better to use several light applications than a single, heavy one. Two layers is plenty for most.  Your makeup will be very shiny if you over apply.

Mineral Blush
Using a small amount of product on your Baby Buki Brush, work outward and slightly upward in a circular motion.

For a more natural look, do not bring the color all the way to your hairline. Sweep across forehead, nose and chin for more balance.

Use your blush as an eye shadow. Load a small amount of powder on your Mini Buki Brush and blot. Apply in a controlled circle in the middle of the eyelid. The color will go exactly where it should go. Apply more if needed. This is nice as a base color and really pops the eyes. This is a nice day-time or natural look.

Rice Powder
This talc-free powder sets makeup, controls shine and minimizes the appearance of large pores. Use over foundation. To control very oily skin, try using the Rice Powder as a pre-base before the foundation.

Mineral Enhancers
These luminous loose powders have ultra fine particles of shimmer (mica) to deflect light and illuminate the skin, helping to create the look of naturally radiant skin. The fine shimmer is not overly glittery making it perfect for day or night because it’s subtle rather than shiny or greasy. GO CRAZY WITH THESE POWDERS; THEY LOOK FABULOUS ANYWHERE YOU PUT THEM.!

Illusion:  Can be mixed and worn over or under minerals to enhance complexion and add the natural radiance of a soft, luminous glow to your skin.

Polished:  Can be used as an eye shadow base, face and eye highlighter, or mixed with other minerals.

SunKissed: Gives a warming sun-kissed glow. Can be used as a contour or mixed with Mineral Rice Powder to soften as an overall bronzer.
